It is the worst when you respond to a girls profile and you get one of those thanks, but no thanks responses. Or on some sites shes not interested. It is like being defriended on facebook. So I got some more views and sent out some responses. Right now I am using the IM feature on these sites. I figure if they are using the IM and they might be just desperate enough to give me a shot. I might go to Yahoo chat for old time sake and do a people search on myspace. I miss the days of the AOL hook up. I have no brick and mortar prospects in the girlfriend department.
Today at work my partner in crime decided to pull a vacation day and I ran the tourney by myself. It was a nice change of pace. Tomorrow I plan on playing some Brick and Mortar Poker. Probably a tournament with at least 100 runners and a buy in of around 150 or try a satellite at The V. Last night I played a couple of MTT's and netted 3 dollars or so. My bankroll is now around $333.
Right now I am watching The biggest loser and drinking high balls. I enjoy watching this program because it makes me fell not so bad about needing to lose 20 pounds. I know I am swinging for the fences every time I answer a profile. Also I know that when I finally do capture what I am looking for it will all be worth it. If I could ever recapture the happiness I once had in the first 6 years of my former marriage it would be something special.
It is now time to quickly check my secondary dating sites and then it is time for a night of poker. I will stick to my bankroll system and hopefully good things happen. I am watching the show we spoke of earlier and will then watch Parenthood. After that I will watch a new episode of Glee off the dvr. I am not musical, but for some reason enjoy the show.
