Well boys and girls I decided it is never to late to get some more education. I am planning on going to UNLV in a non matriculated status. I am meeting with an advisor on Thursday. If I can complete my MA in Economics I feel as though I have some closure on an unfinished educational Odyssey. I never wanted to be an economist. My two things that I really wanted to be were a geologist or an astronomer, but outside forces pushed me in other directions.
I heard the most borderline retarded statement of my life in the green felt jungle today. A player says to me that he does not want to play in a 2-5 game because their are too many chips on the table. For some reason people believe that you can be bullied in a cash game based on stack size. Nothing can be farther from the truth. In a cash game if you like your hand bet or raise if you do not then fold. Now in tournament play where you have a finite amount of chips yes stack size matters. I am a short stack specialist in brick and mortar play its not much for the pretty, but it gets the job done. Last night I lost $19 dollars in online poker. Tonight I will play again. I will start out with a bankroll of $289. My first attempt will be a 45 man $3.25 turbo. If I fail there I will play some double ups.
I had a few views on my match.com last night. I will do three handcrafted responses. I have a little wrinkle to throw in. There is this Asian girl who I have decided to call pretzel girl she works the pretzel stand on The mezzanine level of NYNY. I want to try to build rapport with her before I ask her out on a date and her fingers our clear(no rings). In order to get to know her more I will have to buy some over priced pretzel products. Maybe I will buy some pretzel dogs for breakfast tomorrow. I figure that buying a few pretzels will be cheaper then some $8 highballs and a $25 cover charge at a night club.
As you all know I have invited President Obama to my condo for The Highball Summit. He has not yet responded. I want to debunk his flawed economic models and put him on the right path. America is far more important then partisan politics. He is a marvelous orator yet his policy is flawed. He needs to stop being an enabler to the masses and start being an empowering force. I will introduce him to the teachings of Milton Friedman. I will save America. Maybe we could go out for a round at Summerlin and some drinks. I really believe we can find some common ground. Most importantly I want him to meet the person who will defeat him in 2012, yours truly.
