99ers and Rugged Individualism and Reconsialing Being Both.

Now I have never considered myself to be a lazy person,  I have always considered myself to the type of person to believe in the pull yourself up by your boot straps mentality.  I consider my self a libertarian and in line with the Glen Beck's thinking on most foreign affairs.  However tonight I am calling him to task.  I am going to be an advocate and stick up for the 99ers.  A 99er is some one who was laid off through no fault of their own.  These people have been collecting unemployment for 99 weeks.  Unemployment insurance is something you pay into while you are employed so you have it to bridge the gap when you are unemployed.
For him to say to these people that they should be ashamed to call themselves Americans is rude and insolent. For him to equate welfare with unemployment is a sick and sorted statement.  Unemployment is something you actually something you had to work for for a descent point of time to collect.  Their are extreme qualifying stipulations you need to meet to get it.  Welfare you can be born into you never had to work to get it.  We have 5th generation welfare in this country and that is wrong.
Glen Beck has been socially irresponsible calling people who worked hard and played by rules for 20 plus years anti American, because they lost their job.  These people who lost their jobs are people who are motivated individuals who want to work and crave a sense of purpose who are the back bone of our nation.
Now I think we as Americans need to have a social contract with each other.  What I mean by this is if you are collecting you should not be just laying around playing x-box taking down 393 a week.  You should be actively seeking employment.  Now I am not saying you should work in a minimum wage job, but you should be actively seeking jobs that are equal or greater in compensation to the one you lost  in good faith.  Like I said unemployment is called insurance for a reason.  You pay your premiums in the event of a rainy day.
In my opinion the three greatest bands ever are The Grateful Dead, Oasis and Train.  It is amazing me how many people are attempting to cover Train's Hey Soul Sister on Youtube.  Now it is almost as heinous  as people trying to sing journeys don't stop believing at karaoke night.  The one exception is Alyssa Bernal here is this fresh faced young lady with her whole life in front of her I hope she avoids the pit holes of adult hood.  Her song Cali Cali is amazing.
Now lets say for some reason I ever have to leave Las Vegas I am debating the merits of where to go.  I have narrowed it down to 3 locales.  They are Southern New Hampshire, Waialua on the North Shore of Ohau or The Vancouver or Surrey area of British Columbia. I like these areas because I can work in poker in two of the three and I can potentially meet a beautiful Asian girl who will be  the love of my life in all three,  I hope that ship has not sailed.
Today I went down to The V to play poker with my friend Richard.  I played well.  It was my typical style of play blue collar poker not much for the pretty , but it gets the job done.  I won some money on what I believe is the most beautiful play in poker the check raise all in with two overs to the board and a four flush.  Its all most as pretty as the 3 run home run.  I am running very well brick and mortar, but I can not get arrested online.
I neglected this weekend to attempt to use any of my dating strategies.  It was another weekend by myself.  Someday this trend of being alone will end I will meet my soul sister, but it will not happen in this city.  In an economy of Southern Nevada where there is 14.9% unemployment I am grateful to be employed by the best outfit town.
