First Hand Crafted response.

I will show her ad and then my response.  I call this batting practice.  This means I am swinging for the fences with a girl who is probably out of my league.   How ever she a Puerto Rican who I am attracted to so I am on a free roll she either says no or I get a date.  Good practice for my Asian campaign.  First I will show her profile statement.
25 year old Puerto Rican 5'1 no kids.
Story:
Well Im a puertorican originally from Florida. I was married in Highschool and moved to England for a couple of years. I then decided to join the Air Force and that's what brought me to Vegas and been here ever since. Since then I've also gotten divorced, done a tour in Iraq and just got back from a tour in Afghanistan. The love of my life is my dog Shiba. Im not one of those crazy women that puts outfits on their pets but she is pretty high up on my priority list lol. Im currently studying at UNLV with a Major in Photography and Minor in Aerospace Studies and I love it!

Perfect Match:
I've been hurt too much in my life so I am definitely picky so if I don't email you back please don't get offended. I want a MAN not a boy. SOmeone who isn't about playing games or not about showing his true feelings. Someone who is honest and down to earth. I need someone who is active and like to stay in shape and is attractive. I know looks fade but in order to have a healthy long lasting relationship there must be some kind of attraction.

Ideal Date:
Somewhere fun and not a lot of pressure on the first date. Maybe rock climbing or hiking. Oh yea no drinking on the first date...it's tacky.

Movies:
SO many movies to think of!! Im a hopeless romantic so probably any romantic comedy or romance....i know i know, im such a girl lol.

My response:
ang13,
You seem like an amazing girl and I think our lives have followed the same paths on many levels. When I was at University I did a cultural tourism study in London. After my University years I served in the Army as a NCO. I was in the 82nd Airborne Division and pulled a tour in Iraq and Afganistan. I actually worked very closely with Air Force SWO and ALO in the Tactical Operations Center in Afganistan I was stationed in Bagram AFB. I also did some resupply missions to the FOBS. In Iraq I was in Ramadi. We started out in Kuwait and convoyed there in 120 degree heat and no sleep. Where were you stationed over their. What was your job. By the way I also like romantic comedies. Two of my favorites are A Circle of Friends and a Walk In The Clouds. I agree with you that drinking on the first date is tacky. All though I do enjoy a beer and a ball game. I would never be blunt enough to ask you out on a date with out getting to know you more. Perhaps we could text. The balls in your corner.
