62 Sammy Davis years or 90 years on gerbil food.

As you all know in the last six months of my life, there have been many changes. Near the tail end of my tenure at the big green building I was unhappy with my life and my blood pressure was to the roof. Once I resigned and started playing 1-2 NL for a living my health improved greatly.  I did very well playing no limit at Green Valley Ranch. I was renting a room off my friend for $400 a month. Life seemed to easy, but I felt I needed a challenge. So I took a poker job in New Hampshire.  I had a great time traveling across America on my way to New Hampshire. I had pizza in Chicago, beef on wick in western New York and Buffalo wings at the anchor bar in Buffalo New York.
I have always viewed poker as my way out of what ever negative situation I am in.  Sort of  how inner city men view basketball or boxing.  As you all know I really do not enjoy dealing poker.  That being said I am grateful to have a job and an awesome boss.  There are just other things I want to do.
My main goal in life is to retire as soon as possible to either The Philippines or Vietnam.  So I have two possibilities go to The VA and try out for post traumatic stress disorder or win it over the green felt.  So on late Sunday night after I left work I decided to take $360 dollars and drive to Foxwoods.  Most of who know me understand that I am a winning player, but a blue collar short stacker.  My game is not much for the pretty, but it gets the job done.
So My goal was to table hop and roll up about $500 dollars profit.  This would pay for a room, meals, gas and entry  into a $160 tourney with a $10,000 guarantee, an $80 turbo and an $80 super satellite.  Well it was grave yard the games were not that good and I had had with tone of the evening I was around a $155 dollar winner when my table broke and we went down to 2 tables.  The line up sucked so I said I do not want to bang my head against the wall in lousy cash games.  My 7 years in Las Vegas taught me game selection is everything.  However I have always loved to use cash games to free roll my tournament play.  So i took $140 of my winnings and decided to back count a blackjack shoe and try to double Thu twice which would leave a balance of $560 barring any Black Jacks or splits and doubles.  I used a balanced count rather then a red 7 due to an 8 deck shoe.  I had to use deck count as well to convert to true count.  Anyways deck got to plus 6 and I put my $ 140 in the circle.  I made a 19 on two cards dealer mad natural 20.   End result of trip after gas and food down $15.  Oh well back to Hampton NH for a weekend of low ball poker and beer drinking.
Now lets talk about my online dating.  I have actually had a few dates.  They were normal and did not end in a bizarre fashion as many do.   A few of the girls I saw its not that we did not like each other it was that we were looking for different things in life.  The last girl I went out with we had a second date and are planning are third.  Now this young lady is nice girl She is 27 I am 37.  Its not nearly as pervy as it sounds.  She is nothing like some of the skanks I used to pull out of bars.
Now we are taking things slow, but I am already having fantasies about our first night together.  Here is my dream scenario.  We get back from the oyster and sushi buffet she leads me into her room.  Then out of no where The Lynnfield High Marching Band is playing When The Saints GO Marching In.  As we begin foreplay Willie Nelson is in the room Singing Who Gets The Family Bible.  As we begin the act itself a group of Japanese business men in are the room doing Karaoke to Journey Don't Stop Believing.  When it is really getting hot and heavy  Johnny Cash with the Staddler Brothers sing The Battle Hymn of The Republic.   When I am about to climax  A Pentecostal Choir in Choir robes is singing Do Lord Remember me.  When we are done Al Jolsen is singing Happy Days are Here Again.   The I am interviewed by Jim Nance and Howard Cossell and complimented on my performance.  This will be better then winning The Masters.  I guess I am a Hopeless Romantic.
